TURRO Meteor '93/'94
In 1998, my friend and mentor Paolo "Pallino" Pozzoni launched an initiative from the pages of the monthly magazine TECNO MTB: readers were invited to redesign a DH MTB classic. That bike was the TURRO Meteor. Honest bike but with suspension kinematics already ... wrong at that time! I took the invitation and I drawn a Meteor DH where the swingarm was repositioned and assembled in VPP mode, without any particular modifications, adding just quite simple links. The wheel travel increased more than double! A suitable fork was also needed. And disc brakes! Maybe even a saddle integrated with the number plates...
I had a lot of fun. My friend Pallino was happy to publish my drawings and we continued to imagine and draw many more bikes!

RispondiEliminaMolto interessante il carro riveduto in chiave moderna VPP. Ma davvero l'hai elaborata in quell'anno? Se così fosse il DW Link sarebbe un plagio! Hai intenzione di riprendere qualche altra classica bici in chiave moderna? Magari la Bromont o le mitiche Lawill, San Andreas...
