From the series: impossible matches! Anachronistics? Unlikely? Maybe it's the fact that this extraordinary and highly original motorbike was "killed" by a wrong(?) strategy (making it a racing motorbike tout court), it's certainly my atavistic and initiatory bond with APRILIA (Tuareg Rally 125), perhaps it's that MXV chassis in my garage who always tells me "Assemble me! Complete me! Take me around to drown myself in dust, not to take dust here!"... It may be all this and more, but I really want to put these two creatures side by side! Sooner or later...

SAMBADH is me. Not just a nickname or simply the initials of the name, surname and a suffix indicating an incurable pathology. Down Hill. Gravity.

SAMBADH is also a place, a personal, creative time to express how I see cycling things. With the tare(?) of a very long motorcycling background.

SAMBADH is a vision of the bike, definitely centered around a few key products: MGU and Gbox integrated drivetrain with frameset platforms (kinematic deep integration).

SAMBADH is also a mission: bring the PHASER family into production.

Obviously it is a provocation but I think that a manufacturer like DUCATI can (and must) have a precise and original technical identity as well as proprietary.

So something more than being simple assemblers or carrying out rebranding operations with a profusion of premium components to justify the exclusivity of something. Something that doesn't have exclusivity in its DNA from the start.

You certainly need to invest, incubate some original ideas, build our own know-how. Either you do this and create your own Blue Ocean or you inevitably immerse yourself in a blood-red ocean where there are shark-players who, despite your name, have much more experience, reputation and specific weight.

You have just to decide how to position yourself.

Actually… the AUDI Dakar Rally RS Q E-Tron E2 off-road race car was supposed to take us to Borgo Panigale. Bumpy route, of course! A good road book and excellent navigation would be necessary. Then guess the way points to reach the coveted Beach.

Everything is Dakar!

Last but not least, the Vanes DXT bears the name of one of the most significant, iconic and enthralling technicians and enthusiasts rider in the Bologna area!
